This video was shot in Sept 10th, 2020. One of our patients was anxious about dental treatment, especially during the pandemic. After the procedure, she was so relaxed that she started singing a folk song from Scotland to our new " karaoke machine" ( extra-oral suction). This was then buried in my drive until we saw her again recently and she asked: " did you publish my song?" Sorry it takes so long, but here it is. Thank you for your trust, your kind and cheerful heart! We love you and every patient of us.

As our new assistant, Denis' main focus is on keeping up with demand of assisting and he is also a valuable addition to help with disinfection and sterilization of room, instrument and equipment to meet and exceed ADA and CDC guidelines.
Both Connie and Denis are of great help and valuable addition to our practice.
As many of you have noticed already, our extra-oral suction equipment with build-in UVC light has been installed for a while. With the appearance of "karaoke" machines ( we don't recommend singing to it), these devices, along with our intro-oral suctions and high-power air purifier, help to reduce aerosols in our office, making a safe room environment for you and everyone.

Second, in addition to all the preventive steps mentioned in previous news letter, a medical grade Airpura P614 air purifier has been installed. It has HEPA H14 filter with UV light sterilizer that can trap and kill more than 99.995% of airborne particles 0.1 micrometers in diameter acording to airfiltersupplier.com. The average diamter of coronavirus particles is 0.12 micrometers according to wikipedia. It covers 2000 square feet.

As you may already know, our office has been reopened!
Your health and safety are in our mind during this special time. We would like to share some additional steps to meet or exceed the CDC, OSHA and ADA guidelines for dental practices, to make sure your visit is safe.
Each member of our team has completed additional awareness meeting and is provided with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment to prepare for and ensure your safety.
DAILY HEALTH CHECKS OF OUR TEAM
No contact temperature checks and a quick set of questions will document and ensure that we are ready, willing and able to provide safe dental care – every day.
NEWLY UPDATED VACCUM
A brand-new high-power pump has just been installed to increase the suction power 2.5 times. A new heavy volume vacuum mirror system has been added to hygiene chair. Both help to reduce aerosol in the room, protecting you and our staff member.
NO HANDSHAKES OR HUGS
We hope we will be back to normal soon to welcome or say goodbye to you with warm handshakes or hugs.
FEEL FREE TO CHECK IN FROM YOUR CAR
So that you are able to minimize contact with others or make social distancing easier to achieve.
NO PATIENT GLOVES ALLOWED
So that we can minimize cross-contamination and please wear a mask.
SEQUENCED PATIENT SCHEDULING
We are allocating more time between visits for coming, going and cleaning.
A quick health questionnaire and a no-touch temperature check will be completed before your visit.
EXPANDED PATIENT APPOINTMENTS
In an effort to save you time and multiple exposures, we are offering extended appointments. This allows us to do more dentistry in a single visit.
Hand sanitizer will be provided in every room so that you can thoroughly disinfect your hands before entering the clinical area.
SOCIAL DISTANCING IN PLACE
Fewer chairs in our reception area makes 6 feet spacing a practical reality.
CLEANING AFTER EVERY APPOINTMENT
We are taking extra cleaning steps to thoroughly wipe, sanitize, and disinfect all instruments, equipment and surfaces in each operatory after every patient.
CDC-APPROVED INSTRUMENT STERILIZATION
As always, anything that goes near your mouth is heat and pressure cleaned between every use.
N95, DOUBLE MASKS AND FACE SHIELD
The beautiful smiles of our clinical team will be protected behind double-masking and face shield at all times.
FRONT DESK MASKS
Even our friendly administrative team will be wearing masks. Don’t worry. They are smiling behind those masks!
DISPOSABLE, PROTECTIVE GOWNS, HATS and SHOE COVERS
When appropriate, these will add another layer of protection to minimize the spread or absorption of airborne particles.

Our office is now open as recommended by NH Dental Society
Our office will reopen on May 18, 2020. It will be a phased opening. Emergent and urgent dental care will still take priority during the first week. Elective dental procedures and dental cleanings will follow after Memorial Day.
With your safety in mind, we have updated our infection control measurements according to ADA , CDC and OSHA guidelines.
Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:
- Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions via email, messaging, phone calls, or our website. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
- We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.
- You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
- Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
- We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
- Please wear a mask.
